Pauline M. Moore
Pauline Moore was born in Winterville (Pitt County), North Carolina. She is the seventh of ten children born to the late Simon C and Pauline Dixon Mills. She received her education in the public schools of North Carolina and North Carolina Central University, Durham, N.C. She was employed by the Pitt County Board of Education and the Burroughs Wellcome Pharmaceutical Company before moving to Philadelphia in 1974.
She now serves as Administrative Assistant to her husband at the Tenth Memorial Baptist Church. Mrs. Moore has served as editor of the Newsette, the official organ of the Baptist Ministers' Wives and Widows Union of Philadelphia and Vicinity as well as the recording Secretary, Financial Secretary and Treasurer. She is a past President of the Ministers' Wives Auxiliary, Pennsylvania Baptist State Convention.
She served on the board of The Women's Christian Alliance, Cornerstone Christian Academy and the Board of Ministries, Philadelphia Baptist Association to the American Baptist Churches. Presently, she serves on the Board of North City Congress, as the Worship Committee chair for the Pennsylvania Association of Ministers' Wives and Ministers' Widow Interdenominational and as immediate past President of the Baptist Ministers' Wives and Ministers' Widows Union of Philadelphia and Vicinity. In June 2015, she was given the opportunity to speak at the International Association of Ministers' Widows in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
In 1980, she was inducted into the Chapel of Four Chaplains Legion of Honor. She was selected to appear in the:

She is a member of numerous professional, religious and civic organizations. She is married to the Rev. Dr. William Bernard Moore, Pastor of the Tenth Baptist Church, Philadelphia. They are parents of two ordained ministers: Rev. Tamieka Nicole Gerow (Rev. Keon), Rev. Justin Bernard Moore and grandmom to Kennedy Noelle Gerow and Keon Nicholas Xavier Gerow.
